Job Summary: Responsible for the overall management of a contracted county and delivery of service to the clients. The Manager of Contracted Case Management supervises case management Supervisors and ensures that quality services are provided.

MORA provides an array of services: Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilities. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children.

Schedule: 40 hours, M-F daytime/business hours.

Salary: $80,000 annually, DOQ. Plus a strong benefit package

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Case Manager Supervisors and Case Managers
  • Acts as the main contact and liaison for contracted county receiving services
  • Monitors county and DHS changes to help the department maintain compliance
  • Develops and maintains metrics that align with the company objectives, business needs, client satisfaction, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintains/achieves billing goals for their team
  • Acts as the internal expert on policies and procedures for contracted counties and DHS
  • Management of overall quality of services
  • Conduct all functions of Supervisor job description
  • Evaluates, coaches, and supports supervisor team
  • Ability to facilitate difficult conversations in various settings with employees and/or clients
  • Ensures we are imbedding DEI/Equitable practices across all hiring, training, communications, etc.
  • Ensure quality, person-centered services for individuals served
  • Engages in MORA events and participates in committees and/or focus groups
  • Works harmoniously with and shows respect for employees, counties, providers, and clients
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Human Services related degree, and meet the minimum requirements of a Social Worker Minn.R.9575
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Five years of experience supporting persons with IDD, mental health and/or aging population
  • Commitment to continued personal growth, cultural humility, and viewing all things from a holistic and diverse perspective
  • Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain “qualified” status
  • Must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office of Inspector General
  • Must be able to successfully complete company’s physical job demands document
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and must have insurance as required by state law

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a contracted case manager
  • Proven critical thinking; ability to solve complex problems, decision making, and judgment
  • Ability to handle confidential information and ensure HIPAA requirements are met
  • Aligned with quality improvement and mission/values of the organization
  • Proven leadership and supervision experience
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Proven communication skills
  • Must understand the person-centered process
