Job SummaryResponsible for overall Mount Olivet Rolling Acres Fundraising efforts

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres – MORA – is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit that has supported adults, seniors and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs as well as age-related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro. Due to continued growth in our Case Management department, we are seeking a Director of Case Managerment for clients in Goodhue, Mcleod, Scott, Hennepin, Anoka, Dakota, Washington & Ramsey Counties. Office locations are in Chanhassen.

MORA provides an array of services: Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilities. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children.

Salary Range: $100,000 -$110,000  Expected hiring range, DOQ. Plus a strong benefit package

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Mount Olivet Rolling Acres’ mission, vision, values, and culture, and takes an active leadership role in the implementation of agency-wide goals and objectives
  • Leads the advancement of fundraising and philanthropy for the organization
  • Creates and monitors agency development plan in collaboration with Executive Director
  • Leads planning efforts of identified MORA events including Golf Scramble, Carnival, Volunteer and Donor Appreciation, and other events throughout the year
  • Creates and presents proposal for donor consideration (individual and corporate) and secures major gifts
  • Maintains and strengthens relationships with current donors by overseeing process for donor acknowledgement, recognition, and reporting
  • Creates promotional materials and effectively collaborates with communications team to represent organization
  • Leads the exploration and implementation of donor software
  • Leads external communications aimed at current and potential MORA donors
  • Oversee grant applications and contracts associated with giving
  • Leads the development of polices and procedures related to philanthropic gifts
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director to set and track budget goals
  • Works the hours necessary to perform business needs, but primarily during weekday 8-4:30 business hours
  • Works harmoniously with and shows due respect for other employees, supervisors, partners, vendors and clients
  • Travels occasionally to represent organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working with social service sector non-profits
Required Qualifications:
  • 7 or more year experience in corporate giving, individual giving, grants, and communications
  • Proven leadership skills and the possession of a high level of emotional intelligence to supervise, direct, evaluate, coach, and support staff
  • Proven written and oral communication skills and proficient in typical office technology
  • Able to work autonomously, self-motivated, and a high level of organizational skills
  • Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status
  • Must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office of Inspector General
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and must have insurance as required by state law
